Do I need to print my ticket?
If you are on a Private Bus, you will need a printed copy of your ticket to hand to the driver when you first board. For all other ticket types, e-tickets are fine.
Do I need my name on my ticket?
No, it’s not necessary to have your name on your ticket. If you book multiple tickets for your group, your name will appear on all the tickets. It’s not a requirement that these names are updated to the name/s of the individual attending.
Can I gift or sell my ticket to someone else?
Yes, absolutely. There is no need to change the name on the ticket – unless you really want to.
If the ticket was originally part of a group booking, please note that the name of the person who booked the tickets will appear on each individual ticket. If you change the name on your ticket, the name on all the tickets for the group booking will be changed.
Can I BYO alcohol?
Put simply – no.
Can I bring food and/or water?
There is food available at each venue, with either food trucks or the venue providing food options. There are also water refill stations available at all venues, if you do bring your own water bottle.
Can I drink on the bus?
No. None of the VineHop bus options allows drinking on the bus. There is only a short drive between venues and there will be plenty of drinks flowing once you get to the venues.
What happens if I lose my glass?
Jump on the VineHop website and buy an ‘I lost my glass’ ticket. Show this e-ticket and your wristband to the warden (in VineHop t-shirt) and they will give you a new glass.
What happens if the weather is poor?
VineHop is an all-weather, outdoor event. You may need to bring a hat, sunnies and some sunscreen, as well as an umbrella, coat, rain jacket and gumboots. We’ve had all sorts of weather in previous years, and attendees have had a great time regardless!
If the weather is extreme, we will work with local authorities (including local government and emergency services) to determine whether VineHop is safe to proceed. We will communicate any necessary messages to you via the VineHop Facebook page.
Where are the VineHop Shuttle Bus Stops?
• Seaford – Seaford North Recreation Reserve, 50 Railway Parade, Seaford (100m from Seaford Station)
• Mornington – Mornington Primary School, 9 Vale Street, Mornington
• Rosebud – Olympic Park Recreation Reserve, 80 Besgrove Street, Rosebud
MY FRIENDS AND I ARE ON THE SAME SHUTTLE BUS, BUT DEPARTING FROM DIFFERENT START LOCATIONS. HOW DO WE MAKE SURE WE GO TO THE SAME FIRST VENUE?
At each of the bus pickup points (Seaford, Mornington and Rosebud), there will be four buses leaving at the same time. Each bus will be going to a different venue first, so that we distribute people evenly across all venues on the route.
Buses with the same letters will be going to the same venue first. So bus A from Seaford, bus AA from Mornington and bus AAA from Rosebud will be going to the same venue first. Likewise for buses B, BB and BBB and so on.
You do not need to stay on this bus for the whole day. This is purely about getting to the same first venue as friends departing from a different bus pickup point. Once you are at your first venue, you can take any bus you choose from that point on.
We’re booking a Private Bus. Can we get picked up from more than one location?
Yes, you can have more than one pick-up location. Bear in mind that the Private Bus hire is for eight hours in total, starting from your first pick-up location. If you add more pick-up locations, it will reduce the amount of time available to spend at different venues throughout the day.
Longer bus hire time may be available, please contact us at info@vinehopfestival.com.au to discuss.
Can I arrange my own private bus and driver?
If you are a group of 11 or fewer – yes, you can arrange your own private bus and driver. Your driver cannot be a patron attending the festival. Your driver must drop you off at and pick you up from each venue, they are not permitted to park at any venue (other than the Festival Hub @ The Briars). Your driver must follow all directions from VineHop traffic personnel.
If you have a group of 12 or more people, you must book one of the VineHop bus options (Private Bus or Shuttle Bus).
There are strict conditions on our permit that prevent larger groups from attending VineHop in their own buses. If you are a group of 12 or more people and arrive on your own bus you will be turned away, regardless of if you have a valid GA ticket.
WHAT FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH A DISABILITY?
All shuttle buses are low-floor buses, with a minimal step between the ground and the floor of the bus. The buses also have space inside for wheelchairs or other aids. Private Buses can also be low-floor buses if needed – please contact us at info@vinehopfestival.com.au and we’ll be more than happy to help organise this.
Please note VineHop is an outdoor event, with most event areas on grass. We try to use the flattest surfaces available but please be aware there may be uneven and sloped areas.
Accessible toilets will be available at all venues.
If you are only visiting The Festival Hub @ The Briars, and are arriving by private car or taxi, accessible parking will be available close to the event area. Look for signs to accessible and special needs parking when you arrive or speak to our friendly event crew.
Please contact us info@vinehopfestival.com.au with any specific requests or questions we can help you with, to support you to have a great time at VineHop.
Will there be ATMs?
There will be no ATM’s at any venue. All bars will have EFTPOS facilities available, or please bring sufficient cash for purchases.
Is First Aid available?
Yes. First Aid will be available at each venue. Please ask the first aiders, event crew or security staff if you need help.
Can I bring children to VineHop Saturday?
VineHop Saturday is strictly an 18+ event.
